A U.S. Army Veteran, CLARENCE RAY CHEADLE, 59, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Clarence’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at Church on the Move on Monday, November 23, 2020, at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

On February 21, 1961, Clarence was born to McKenzie Cheadle and Willie Mae Webb in Roswell, New Mexico. He graduated from High School and later joined the U.S. Army in Ft. Jackson on 29-JUL-80 and was Honorably discharged on 21-JUL-83 as a Motor Transport Operator and Light-Wheel Vehicle Power Generation Mechanic. During Clarence’s military service, he was awarded an Army Service Ribbon, Expert Badge (M-16 Rifle) Bar, and an Expert Badge with Hand Grenade Bar. He was a proud Veteran whose heart was to serve his country. Clarence loved going to church, he always put God first in his life. He was a member of Church on the Move, where he was a door greeter. Clarence was part of a prison ministry group. He was a “Dallas Cowboy” fan, who enjoyed watching them play on Sundays. Clarence was also a big fan of the “Los Angeles Lakers.” He loved having family gatherings and spending time with his grandkids. Clarence enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports, he was their #1 fan. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Clarence are his loving wife, Regina Cheadle; children: Comien Cheadle and husband Angel, Clarence Cheadle and wife Laura, Comiecca Williams and husband Derrick; grandchildren: DazJohn, Clarence Jr., Calli, Kalayah, Cobe, Beau, Aubreana, Kayden, Cole, Legend, and Cordell; mother, Willie Mae Webb; siblings: David Cheadle, Bridgette Cheadle, Reginald Cheadle, Yvonne Cheadle, Richard Williams, and many more half and step-siblings; aunts and uncles: Gladys Stewart, Janice Davenport, GeorgiaAnn Davenport; nieces and nephews: Elgin, Dawnne, Marquis, Devon, DaSean, Micah, Willow, Maejor, and many nieces and nephews from his Singleton family; as well as many close friends.

PRECEDED: Clarence was preceded in death by his father, McKenzie Cheadle; grandchild, Marley Williams; grandparents; great-grandparents; and his siblings: Elaine Cheadle and Jamie Webb; and his mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, and sister-in-law.
