Salvation Army’s bells are ringing

MainStreet Roswell Mascot Contest

MainStreet Roswell is looking for a pet mascot. They will be using pet mascot photos throughout the year to promote First Friday Downtown events. Entries can be made online until Dec. 4. The public will vote for the winner. Online voting ends Dec. 30 and in January 2021, the mascot winner will be announced. For more information, visit mainstreetroswell.org.

Auditions for Santa’s Talent Search

The Roswell Community Little Theatre, 1717 S. Union Ave., is holding auditions on both days at 6 p.m. for its holiday talent show Santa’s Talent Search. There is an entry fee. The performances will be on Dec. 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit roswelltheatre.com.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake

The annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake, which benefits the nonprofit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern New Mexico, has been postponed until restrictions due to the COVID-19 crisis are lifted. For more information, visit bbbssenm.org or its Facebook page.
