With the easing of restrictions under the state health order this week, Salvation Army bellringers have been able to take their stations across Roswell.

Bellringers had been deemed nonessential under the public health order, and with the state shifting to its “Red to Green” framework, Wednesday was the first day they were able to operate, Salvation Army Corps Officer Niki Woollin said.

“We are excited to see the response,” she said.

She said most of the locations did well in their first day, but some locations may not continue to be manned if they receive a low amount of donations.

Bellringers will be located at Hobby Lobby, 4501 N. Main St.; Walmart, 4500 N. Main St.; Sam’s Club, 4400 N. Main St.; Walgreens, 1835 N. Main St. and 1200 S. Main St.; Albertsons Market, 1110 S. Main St. and 900 W. Second St.; and Farmers Market, 2800 N. Main St. and 800 W. Hobbs St.
