Chimichangas, vodka stolen in shoplifting on North Main

Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of North Main Street Dec. 3 at 10:36 p.m. in reference to a shoplifting. Six chimichangas with a combined value of $18.54 and a 1.5 oz Deep Lemon Vodka valued at $12 were reported stolen.

Arrests/citations

Javier Albert Gurrola was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Nov. 27 at 1:29 a.m. in the 800 block of West Buena Vista Street.

Samantha Dennae Shull was charged with controlled substance; possession prohibited and probation violation on Nov. 28 at 2:10 a.m. in the 400 block of West Bland Street.

Kalon D. Hood was charged with indecent exposure Nov. 28 at 11:37 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Garden Avenue.

Michael Mendoza was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Nov. 29 at 12:29 a.m. in the 600 block of South Union Avenue.

Savanna Danielle Tavarez was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Nov. 29 at 6:28 p.m. in the 500 block of Ash Avenue.

Arson/criminal damage

An officer responded to an arson Nov. 27 at 9:02 p.m. in the 2700 block of North Main Street. A toy frog valued at $5.99 was reported burned.

Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of South Union Avenue Nov. 29 at 7:57 a.m. in reference to a criminal damage call. Two back windows and one rear window with a combined value of $600 on a 2018 Toyota were reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

Police responded to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle Nov. 27 at 3:43 p.m. in the 800 block of Agate Road. A 2012 gray Lincoln was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to a burglary call Nov. 27 at 5:17 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Country Club Road. A firearm valued at $119, two silver dollars with a combined value of $60, a pair of diamond earrings valued at $500, a silver necklace valued at $100, a Samsung charger valued at $20, a jewelry box valued at $80 and 20 pairs of earrings valued at $30 each were reported stolen.

An officer was asked to contact a woman Nov. 28 at 1:28 p.m. in reference to fraud. She reported that her Snapchat account had been “hijacked” and $12 was stolen from it.

An officer responded to a shoplifting Nov. 28 at 7:06 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Main Street. A Carhartt hooded pullover jacket valued at $129.99 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of North Main Street Nov. 29 at 9:36 a.m. in reference to a fraud. A Debit card and $216.51 in cash were reported stolen.

An officer responded Nov. 30 at 1:45 p.m. to a burglary call in the 2200 block of West Hobbs Street. Miscellaneous merchandise valued at $100 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of West Hobbs Street Nov. 30 at 3:42 p.m. Two sets of china with a combined value of $300 and a cabinet valued at $270 were reported stolen.

Officers responded to a residential burglary Dec. 1 at 10:20 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Main Street. Several firearms including an American Ruger .22 caliber valued at $700, a Mossberg 500 ATI 12-gauge valued at $700 and an ATI Military Sport 556 caliber valued at $459 were reported stolen.

Police responded Dec. 1 at 12:30 p.m. to a larceny reported to have occurred in the 3600 block of North Main Street. A wallet valued at $50 and $200 in cash were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. to the 1300 block of South Main Street in reference to a shoplifting. A pair of boots with a combined value of $119 were reported stolen.

Police responded Dec. 3 at 6:42 a.m. to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Rosemary Lane. A red 2007 Hummer was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of North Main Street Dec. 3 at 4:45 p.m. in reference to a larceny shoplifting. A cooler valued at $323.49 was reported stolen.
