Rosalind “Roz” C. Miller, 67, went to be with our Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, September 27, 2020. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Rosalind’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

On October 1, 1952, Rosalind was born in Chicapee Falls, MA (Westover AFB) to Roy H. Cordova (father) and Laura R. Cordova (mother). Roz spent her teenage years as a military brat and moved to various places where her father served his country proudly in the Armed Forces.

Roz graduated from West Anchorage High School, Anchorage, AK in 1972. Following graduation, she moved to Roswell where she met the love of her life, Robert D. “Bob” Miller. Roz married Bob at the NMMI Chapel on December 6, 1975, in Roswell, NM. After marriage, they made their way to Carlsbad, CA, and made it their home for many years. She worked for Mercedes Benz as a receptionist and later went to work for K-Mart, in the accounting office and retired after working there for more than twenty years. Later, they moved back to Roswell, NM, where she worked at Wal-Mart in the accounting office and retired in 2017 after seventeen years. Roz had a passion for jewelry and worked part-time at a local Jewelers for several years. She was an avid reader, loved to travel, and go to the Annual Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, NM, and going to Disney Land. Roz absolutely loved meeting people and adored animals.

Throughout the years, Roz made many friends that turned out to be long-lasting relationships. If Roz knew you, she would always remember your birthday whether it was with a card, a gift or a treat. She never forgot your special day. Roz was loved by so many for her genuine heart, she was a unique person. She was always straight forward and willing to give a helping hand. God, family, fur babies, and her friendships, were the four most important things to Roz. She is loved and will be missed by many.

I am writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above.
I am resting here with the angels,
Who surround me now with love.
But though I may seem far away,
we will never truly part,
For part of me lives on with you,
Forever in your heart.
