Man injured in Wednesday stabbing

Police are investigating a Wednesday night stabbing in north Roswell.

At least seven officers responded at 6:50 p.m. to an aggravated battery call near a store in the 2600 block of North Main Street, according to an incident report filed by the Roswell Police Department.

Todd Wildermuth, public information officer with the RPD, said the victim, a 41-year-old man, was later transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No updates were available about the victim’s condition, or if police have any suspects, as of press time Wednesday.

Wildermuth added the incident remains under investigation.
