On Friday, December 4, 2020, McGinn Perfecto Sandoval Sr., a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather joined our Lord at the age of 87.

He was born on January 24, 1933 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico to Amelia Sandoval. McGinn served in the United States Air Force for 16 years as a Staff Sargent. He was immensely proud to be a Veteran and even prouder that he had the opportunity to serve his country.

McGinn was a life-long carpenter after his military service in which he remodeled and constructed homes throughout the Pecos Valley. Though he lived most of his life in the Dexter/Midway area, he always had a story about growing up in Fort Sumner. He loved to work outside, spending time with his grandchildren and putting them to work with him.

His favorite movies were Westerns, and he could watch any John Wayne movie again and again and always made sure to watch wrestling. He loved Spanish and Country Music and he would dance, whistle, and sing along. He was a light in the lives of his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Annie R. Sandoval, daughter Cindy Ramirez Gonzalez, his sister Laura Vasquez, and his mother Amelia.

Me fui por un caminito
Me encrontre a Jesucristo
Me dijo que era mi Padre, San Pedro mi pariente.
Me dio una crucita que me pusiera en mi frente para que malo no me encuentre
Ni de dia, ni de noche, ni a la hora de mi muerte.

Amen, Jesús.
