The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services (DVS) is asking veterans to take a short online survey to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the state’s veteran population.

According to a press release issued by DVS, no personal or confidential questions are asked. The results will help DVS gain a better understanding about how to enhance its services for veterans and their families during the pandemic.

“We know many veterans and their families in New Mexico have suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said DVS Secretary-Designate Sonya L. Smith. “We want to see where we can improve our services, and where we can partner with other state agencies to help veterans who need critical care and assistance.”

The survey is found at the top of the DVS website homepage, at http://www.nmdvs.org.

Questions can be answered by selecting a provided answer, and then clicking the submit button at the end of the survey.
