BRANDON SHAWN BROYLES-VALENZUELA, 23, also known as “BIG TEX,” passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Brandon’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Memorial Service for Brandon at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Monday, December 28, 2020, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On October 17, 1997, Brandon was born to Scott Anthony Broyles and Chastity Dunlap-Valenzuela-Almanza in Burleson, Texas. He attended classes at Goddard High School, where he participated on the wrestling team. Brandon transferred to and graduated from University High School. He enjoyed Off-Roading and worked as a heavy equipment operator. Brandon loved his trips to the mountain, grilling with family and friends. He was always there for anybody that needed help, he did not like anyone to face things alone. Brandon enjoyed working on his truck with his dad and Uncle Johnny. His most treasured moments were the times he spent with Cheyenne and his beautiful baby girl, Cabella. Brandon was dearly loved and will be missed by his loved ones and friends.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Brandon are his companion, Cheyenne Simpson; daughter, Cabella Valenzuela; parents: Scott Anthony Broyles and stepmother Lu, Duane Valenzuela and Chastity Dunlap-Valenzuela-Almanza; grandparents: Norma Valenzuela, Peggy Collins and Mike Dunlap, Janice Broyles, Mike and Barbara Broyles; step-grandparents: Joan and Don Tyler; great-grandmother: Oleta McNaron; siblings: Dylan Valenzuela and Trista Statts, Brett Valenzuela, Ashley Valenzuela and Michael Ramon and Amber Valenzuela, Alexandra Broyles, Angel Chargoy, Isabella Broyles, Alexander Carrillo, Jeremiah Scott Broyles; aunts and uncles: Johnny and Patty Valenzuela, Bella and Jon Weichmann, Hollie Valenzuela, Danna and Robert Sanchez, Duane Broyles, J. J. Broyles, Benjamin Broyles; nieces and nephews: Gianna Valenzuela, Anamyah, Emaleigh and Ramon; cousins: Steven Sedillo, Nathan Valenzuela, Devan Valenzuela, Abraxas Valenzuela, Danika Gomillon, Malerie Sanchez and Matthew Vargas; precious pets: Cooper, Roxy, Maggie, Pup and Jax Valenzuela; as well as his close friends: George Molinar “Vato,” Isaac Molinar, Willy Stogden, Frankie Gonzales, Toy Madril, Patrick Orquiz, and many more.

PRECEDED: Brandon is preceded in death by his stepmother: Lisa Tyler; grandparents: Sotero and Margaret Morin, Edward Sr. and Juanita Valenzuela; and uncle, Edward Valenzuela III (Eddie); and close friend, Omar Benitez.
