Keep Roswell Beautiful board to meet Monday

The board of directors of Keep Roswell Beautiful will meet Monday and hear information on recycling and other topics.

The meeting will be at noon Monday in the large conference room of City Hall. Due to the public health order, members of the public wishing to participate are encouraged to do so electronically.

No action items are on Monday’s agenda other than approval of the minutes from the November meeting. Several subjects will be presented for information and discussion.

The board will hear an update on the city’s recycling program, which will be switching to a franchise operated by a private company in January. The city’s free recycling bins will remain in use during the month as a transition period.

The board will discuss ideas to increase use of its clean-up supply request form. Keep Roswell Beautiful has cleanup supplies that it will make available to organizations or individuals wanting to use them. A request form can be found on the organization’s page on the city website under the Residents menu.

The board will also discuss other upcoming initiatives and programs.
