First responders compete in drive-thru fundraiser

Fire Department Night at the Alien McDonald’s in Roswell was on Oct. 19 and Police Department Night was Oct. 26. Customers came by to meet and greet with first responders.

These events were a competition between the Roswell Fire and Police departments consisting of two equal time blocks of sales where 100% of the profits at the Alien McDonald’s went to each department during those two hours.

The Roswell Fire Department generated the most drive-thru traffic with 194 customers during the allotted time and won the competition. They are receiving an additional $5,000 from Nic Snowberger, the McDonald’s Roswell owner/operator.

Here are the results: Roswell Police Department total sales received: $1,812.88. Customers through drive-thru: 147. Roswell Fire Department total sales received: $1,957.59. Customers through drive-thru: 194.
