ELIZABETH ANN BLANCO, 58, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Elizabeth’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: A Graveside Service for Elizabeth will be held at South Park Cemetery, on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 10:00 AM.

On August 18, 1962, Elizabeth was born to Albert Blanco and Ramona Olivas in Fresno, California. She graduated from Goddard High School in Roswell, New Mexico. Elizabeth attended Human Services classes at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell and she was presented a “Who’s Who” Award. She was a member of Hope Center First UPC Church. Elizabeth enjoyed shopping, riding her scooter, and working on her garden. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Elizabeth are her son: Samuel Garcia (Nikki) and Larry Peña; daughter, Ramona Peña; eight grandchildren: Sammy Garcia Jr, Bianca Garcia, Annisah Pineda, Dominic Sanchez, Vincent Sanchez, Lafaye Peña, Yesina Garcia and her “Roo Roo” Elliana Nunez; one great-grandson, Josiah Garcia; parents, Albert Blanco and Ramona Olivas; stepfather, who she called dad, Milo Garcia Sr; siblings: Milo Garcia (Bernice), Naomi Tafoya (Matt) and Yvette Sanchez; precious pet, Emma; as well as her love, “Joe” (boyfriend).

PRECEDED: Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first love and father of her children, Fermin Peña; grandson, Sammy Garcia; father, Albert Blanco; stepfather, Natividad Olivas; and her beloved pet and our “sister” of sixteen years, “Baby.”
