Salli J. Sosa, 59, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Salli’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

On February 9, 1961, Salli was born to Raymond and Connie Lucero in Roswell, New Mexico.

She was married to the love of her life, Raymon, for forty-two years. Salli retired from Wal-Mart as their invoice manager after twenty-five years. She loved shopping, watching Love & Hip Hop in Hollywood, camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Salli loved to stand at the front door when it would rain. Her favorite color was purple.

All who knew Salli knew what a great person she was, always wanting to help everybody she could, and she always wanted things done her way.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Raymon; children: Michelle and Tommy Sosa; grandchildren: Paige and Richard Ortiz; sisters: Bonnie Miranda and husband Richard, Dora Aragon, Ramona Lucero, Marina Casarez and husband Lee, Irene Martinez and husband

Ernesto, Cindy Salas and husband Ralph; brothers: Raymond Lucero Jr and wife Rita, Jerry Lucero; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Salli is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Connie Lucero; brother, Raymond (BoomBoom) Martinez; nieces: MaiRai Lucero, A-va Marie Lucero, Antoinette Martinez; great-nephew, David Allen III; mother-in-law, Guadalupe Sosa; sister-in-law, Lydia Trujillo; and brother-in-law, Mike Sosa.

A Memorial Service for Salli will be held at Church on The Move on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow.
