Wall damaged by gunfire on West Brasher Road

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of West Brasher Road Jan. 2 at 6:37 p.m. in reference to a report of criminal damage. A wall sustained $1,200 worth of damage from a bullet.

Arrests/citations

Juan Carlos Alonso was charged with the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle Jan. 1 at 1:05 p.m. in the 900 block of East Second Street.

Erica Maria Oswald-Newman was charged with controlled substances, possession prohibited Jan. 2 at 6:04 a.m. in the 600 block of West 13th Street.

Alex O. Castillo was charged with criminal damage to property Jan. 3 at 12:01 a.m. in the 100 block of East Sixth Street.

Joseph Ray Pena was charged with reckless driving Jan. 3 at 2:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Hendricks Street.

John T. Craycraft was charged with robbery Jan. 5 at 3:36 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Union Avenue.

Criminal damage

An officer was sent to the zero block of Briarwood Place Jan. 1 at 6 p.m. in reference to a report of criminal damage. A window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

An officer responded Jan. 3 at 5 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 700 block of South Sunset Avenue. An apartment window valued at $135 was reported damaged.

Police responded Jan. 3 at 8:47 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 1500 block of North Ohio Avenue. A 2010 Chevy Cobalt was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched Jan. 5 at 6:38 a.m. to the 600 block of Woody Drive in reference to a report of criminal damage. A window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched Jan. 7 at 8:58 a.m. to the 800 block of South Kentucky Avenue in reference to a report of criminal damage. A gray Toyota Highlander valued at $500 was reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

An officer responded Jan. 2 at 8:02 a.m. in reference to a report of wire fraud in the zero block of Military Heights Drive. Some $1,972 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of South Cedar Avenue Jan. 4 at 6:50 p.m. in reference to a stolen vehicle. A 2015 black Buick LaCrosse was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 2300 block of North Main Street Jan. 4 at 2:32 p.m. in reference to a larceny. An Apple iPhone 11 Pro valued at $1,000 was reported stolen.

Police responded Jan. 5 at 12:22 p.m. to a vehicle burglary that occurred in the 1200 block of North Washington Avenue. Cash in the amount of $200 was reported stolen, along with a driver’s license, food stamp card and debit card.

An officer was dispatched Jan. 5 at 6:26 a.m. to the 1200 block of North Main Street in reference to the vehicle burglary of a 2018 Chevy pickup truck. A Springfield 30-06 bolt action firearm valued at $300; a 12-gauge shotgun valued at $200 and a .22 bolt action rifle valued at $200 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched Jan. 5 at 8:37 a.m. to the 3500 block of North Main Street in reference to a vehicle burglary. Two airless breathing masks with a combined value of $70, a toolbox valued at $300, seven pieces of heavy industrial equipment with a combined value of $400, a bag of tools valued at $150, a bag of clothes valued at $200 and a ladder valued at $100 were reported stolen.

An officer responded to a burglary forced entry Jan. 6 at 8:48 a.m. in the 200 block of East 19th Street. A computer valued at $500, a computer monitor valued at $100 and computer wires valued at $30 were reported stolen. A doorknob valued at $30 was also reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to the zero block of Murphy Place Jan. 6 at 9:18 p.m. in reference to a stolen vehicle. A 2011 Chevy Cruze was reported stolen.

Police responded Jan. 6 at 2:32 p.m. to a larceny shoplifting in the 4500 block of North Main Street. A game camera valued at $89.99, a flashlight valued at $64.99 and a Red Bull valued at $3.99 were all reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 2300 block of North Main Street Jan. 6 at 7:16 p.m. in reference to a larceny from a building. A RedLine 10-inch speaker valued at $180 was reported stolen and a television valued at $235 was reported damaged.
