Dolores Carrillo, age 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021, due to what was considered natural causes. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Dolores’ family at www.andersonbethany.com.

On June 27, 1951, Dolores was born in Roswell, New Mexico, to Guadalupe and Erminia Mendiola. She married her longtime love, Alfredo Carrillo, on March 5, 1972, who survives her.

Proud of her education, Dolores received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Her profession was working as a teacher for the Roswell Independent School District, where Dolores retired.

Dolores loved her family and prayed daily for their health and safety. Her life was a living example of her favorite bible verse. Psalms 91, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust….” which she prayed over her family every day.

Dolores is also survived by her eldest son, Gerald and wife Veronica and grandchildren: Isaac and Aaron; son, Paul and wife Becky and grandchildren: Angelica, Zach, Patricio, and Paul; and daughter, Leandra and grandson Michael and wife Sarah; as well as four great-grandchildren: Joe Ryan, David, Jacqueline, and Richard who love and will miss their grandmother.
