55 jackets among items stolen on East Reed Street

Police were dispatched Jan. 11 at 10:30 p.m. to the 500 block of East Reed Street in reference to a burglary forced entry. A glass pane of a door valued at $200 was reported damaged. Reported stolen were: four televisions valued at $100; blankets with a value of $31; 55 jackets with a combined value of $1,515; 23 pairs of leggings with a combined value of $230; 60 handkerchiefs with a combined value of $120; 23 AC chargers with a combined value of $161; a DC charger valued at $5; 10 bras valued at $30; 36 pairs of underwear with a combined value of $108; four pictures valued at $480; three sweaters valued at $30; 26 dresses with a combined value of $936; nine pairs of gloves valued at $27; and three pairs of pants valued at $75.

Arrests/citations

Damian Josiah Olivas was charged with controlled substances, possession prohibited Jan. 8 at 6:16 p.m. in the 4500 block of North Main Street.

Adrianna Madrid was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 9 at 11:19 p.m. in the 400 block of West Second Street.

Lorena Ruiz Beltran was charged with robbery Jan. 10 at 2:29 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Second Street.

Cruizitio J. Garcia-Valenzuela was charged with controlled substances, possession prohibited Jan. 12 at 11:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of North Main Street.

Amanda Padilla was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Jan. 12 at 3 p.m. in the 200 block of East Frazier Street.

Roseann L. Schwartz was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 12 at 8:48 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Main Street.

Manuel Miranda was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 13 at 6:32 p.m. in the 200 block of South Wyoming Avenue.

David Alan Storie was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Jan. 14 at 9:35 p.m. in the zero block of Washington Avenue.

Criminal damage

An officer was dispatched Jan. 14 at 12:50 a.m. to the zero block of West Wells Street in reference to a shooting at a dwelling or occupied building and/or from a motor vehicle. The north side of a residence was reported to have sustained $500 in damage and the fender on a Jeep Wrangler sustained $1,200 in damage.

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched to the 4500 block of North Main Street Jan. 10 at 3 p.m. in reference to a shoplifting. A pressure washer valued at $145; a seat cover valued at $53; a 113-piece tool set valued at $19.97; and a hoodie sweater valued at $12 were reported stolen.

An officer responded to an in-progress unlawful taking of a motor vehicle Jan. 11 at 6:37 p.m. in the 100 block of 22nd Street. A silver 2006 Dodge Ram was reported stolen.

Police responded Jan. 12 at 10:31 a.m. to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle that occurred in the zero block of East Byrne Street. A white 2001 Ford Ranger pickup was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched Jan. 12 at 2:06 p.m. to the 1400 block of South Main Street in reference to embezzlement. Money in the amount of $14,814.27 was reported stolen.
