Josephine Musette Ogles Chambers, 91, died January 5, 2021 in Pot Angeles, Washington.

Jo was born April 26, 1929 in Amarillo, Texas, to Floyd and Maribelle Chesnett Ogles. Shortly after, the Ogles family moved to Holbrook, Arizona, where Jo started school. In 1937, the Ogles family moved to Roswell, New Mexico.

Jo graduated from Roswell High in 1947. She married Lee Chambers the love of her life, October 11, 1947. They had two sons, Richard Lee and James Floyd. Jo and Lee worked together for many years in their business, Capitol TV, later Roswell Communications. Jo then worked as the executive secretary for Hanson Oil until her retirement. She was elected the first president of the American Business Women’s Association, Roswell Chapter.

Several years after her retirement, Jo moved to Squim, Washington, to be near her son Richard.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Lee Chambers, Her son James. Her sister-in-law, Dorothy Chambers Slusher, who died the same day Jo did, her aunt Musette, and her uncle Dow Chesnett. She is survived by her son Richard and wife Patricia Ann Chambers, her granddaughter, Candace Chambers Willers (Josh), her two great-grandsons, Cayden Brown and Nathan Willers.

Jo had many friends and co-workers who loved her and whom she loved and was loyal to. In her spare time she loved to read and to crochet. She made many gifts for her friends. She will be greatly missed.
