Eduardo (Eddie Luna) from Carlsbad, NM passed away on January 6, 2021 in El Paso, Texas.

Eddie was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on October 28, 1963 to Blanca and Vicente Luna. They moved to Roswell, NM in 1965. Eddie attended JC Training School, Valley View and Pecos Elementary. Sierra Middle School and graduated from the Special Education Program in 1984. In May 1998 he relocated to CARC Farm at Carlsbad, NM.

Our gratitude to the staff and nurses for caring for him with respect, dignity, and tender loving care. Eddie loved to clown around, he loved spanish music, dancing to “Cumbias” and enjoyed eating hamburgers and ice cream. He loved cruising with his sister Sylvia when he came to visit in Roswell. He loved scary movies like “Chucky”, “Christine”, and that’s just to name a few.

Eddie is survived by his parents, sister, nephew Mark Salas, niece Isabella Luna, special cousins Emma Arzola (Arturo) and Sylvia Vasquez (Alvaro), who loved him dearly, numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles from Eagle Pass Texas, San Antonio Texas, Arizona, California, and Portland Oregon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Eddie Luna to CARC Farm, PO Drawer 1808 Carlsbad NM 88221-1808. Special thanks and gratitude to all of you who prayed for Eddie. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Peters Catholic Church on Monday, January 25 at 10 am
