Cuahutémoc Bolaños, of Roswell, NM passed away on December 24, 2020.

Cuahutémoc was born in Roswell, NM on September 13, 1979, to Ruben and Josie Bolaños. He grew up with an extended family that included his aunt and uncle Jose Luis and Isabel Bolaños, who he considered his second parents. He graduated from Goddard High School in 1997 and continued to attend the University of New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico University.

Cuahutémoc worked many different jobs throughout the years always focused on the care and service of others. He enjoyed sports with baseball being his favorite, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Cuahutémoc is survived by his parents Ruben and Josie, brothers and sisters Ruben, Arturo, Sonia, Freddy, Jesse, Lizett, Robert, Katherine, Violet, Grace, Susan, Ashley and their spouses and families. He is also survived by aunts Santos and husband Ismael Gutierrez & family, Antonia Madrid & family, the Avalos family of Las Cruces, primos hermanos Antonio & Alejandro Bolaños, Lupe & Gilbert Madrid, Familia Bolaños in Michoacán, México and countless cousins, nieces and nephews who loved and adored him.

He had a special fraternity family of brothers in Omega Delta Phi and many other life-long friends, and co-workers. Cuahutémoc loved his family home of Michoacán, México where he lived a dual citizenship and worked most recently on caring for and maintaining the family Avocado business/ranch.

Cuahutémoc is preceded in death by his parents Jose Luis and Isabel Bolaños, brother Jose Luis (Joe) Bolaños, sister Mary Madrid, grandparents Antonio and Anita Madrid and Antonio and Delfina Bolaños.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Rosary and Mass following at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Roswell, NM, Saturday January 29, 2021.  Father Jaroslaw “Jarek” Nowacki of Assumption Catholic Church will be officiating.
