Mary Fisher, a volunteer with Roswell Community Disaster Relief Services, grabs packs of strawberries to hand out Monday evening at the Wool Bowl. Enrique Morales, director of the relief organization, said he was contacted by a towing service Friday after a tractor-trailer transporting the strawberries overturned. Because the trailer was damaged, the strawberries had to be disposed of. Morales said he gave away 384 cases Friday evening in downtown Roswell and brought another 168 cases to the Wool Bowl. He plans to take strawberries to Dexter and Hagerman for giveaway, and a volunteer took about 300 cases to Artesia. (Juno Ogle Photo)
