BETTY ARAGON DUTCHOVER, 69, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, in Roswell, New Mexico.  Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Betty’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Viewing for Betty at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, February 4, 2021, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Rosary will be held at the Ave Maria Center, 401 East Bland Street, Roswell, NM, on Friday, February 5, 2021, at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On January 10, 1952, Betty was born to Granfe and Amalia Aragon in Roswell, New Mexico. She graduated from Roswell High School. Prior to retirement, Betty was the beloved wife of the love of her life, Johnny Dutchover, who she married in 1970. Prior to retirement, Betty worked in sales and retail. She was a proud, caring and loving mother and grandmother. She was feisty but very loving. Betty’s family and friends loved her very much. Her loved ones will carry fond memories of her, and all will miss Betty.

SURVIVORS: Betty is survived by her sons: Johnny Joe Dutchover, Wesley Ray Dutchover; daughters: Stacy Lynn Dutchover, Jennifer Denise Dutchover; brothers: Raymond Aragon and Alice of Roswell NM, Robert Aragon and Esther of Roswell NM, and Efrem Aragon of El Paso TX; sisters: Isabelle Aguilar of Roswell NM, and Susie Sanchez and Ruben of El Paso TX; grandsons: Diego Martinez, Justin Martinez, Jason Smolky, Johnny Dutchover, Danny Dutchover, Joe  Dutchover, Wesley Dutchover Jr, and Elliot Dutchover; granddaughters: Marissa Dutchover, Brianna Smolky, Annalisia Dutchover, and Mariah Smolky; great-grandchildren: Serenity Smolky, Zemira Smolkey, Aubriella Smolky, Clementina Dutchover, and Azmariah Renteria; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

PRECEDED: Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Granfe and Amalia Aragon; husband, Johnny Dutchover; brothers: Johnny Aragon, Junior Aragon, and Frankie Aragon; sisters: Rita Torrez, Virgie Najeras, Cora Leaton, and Stella Guevara; and great-granddaughter, Gabriella Renteria.
