One man dead in Friday shooting

One man has died following a Friday Morning shooting in Roswell.

Roswell police at 7:40 a.m. were called to the 600 block of South Missouri Avenue, where they found Anthony Vasquez, 56, inside a camper-trailer in which he lived on the premises, according to a press release issued late Friday by the Roswell Police Department.

Vasquez, who had been shot once, was still alive when police arrived. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he later died.
