The City of Roswell’s Solid Waste Department will soon remove the public recycling-collection bins from various sites throughout town as local recycling collection services are turned over to a private company.

The bins will be removed Feb. 15, according to a press release issued by the city.

A franchise agreement between the city and J&A Recycling received approval from the City Council in December. Since then, the city has left its collection bins in place as the transition to J&A providing the service took place, according to the press release.

Residents desiring the service will deal directly with the company.
