NMMI cadet earns national scholarship

Cadet Staff Sgt. Taven Cunningham of San Ramon, California, has been selected as a 2021 National Merit Scholarship Finalist, which means that he has been selected to receive a National Merit Scholarship based on his scores on national standardized tests, faculty recommendations and high school academic achievements. He intends to graduate in May and has applied to several colleges. “Thank you to all for your assistance and the part that all faculty and staff have played in the success of Cadet Cunningham,” NMMI faculty said.
