The Roswell Police Department and Roswell Fire Marshal’s office are investigating a possible arson.

Police responded to a call Wednesday at 9 p.m. in the 100 block of Langley Place after a man discovered his pickup truck was on fire while parked in an alleyway behind his home, Todd Wildermuth, public information officer for the RPD, said Thursday. He added the fire was put out in a matter of minutes and no one was hurt.

The 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck, which had its interior burned, was valued at $20,000, according to an RPD investigation report.

Wildermuth would not discuss any leads in the case, but said the investigation remains open.
