On February 23, 2021, Shirlene Arnold was called to Heaven at 68 years of age. Shirlene was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on July 10, 1952 and given the name Shirlene Mae Robinson. Her parents, Thaylia and Douglas Robinson both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Arnold, Sr. of Roswell, New Mexico. One son, David Arnold, Jr, and his significant other, Albert Sosa, of San Diego, California. One daughter, Christy Beedlc and son-in-law, Dennis Beedle of Colwich, Kansas. One grandson, Michael Tays, of Roswell, New Mexico. Her brother, Johnny and sister-in-law, LaVerne Robinson of Alamogordo, New Mexico. Her sister, Ann & brother-in-law, Bob Brustkern of Waterloo. Iowa. Her brother, Darrell & sister-in-law, Laurie Robinson, of Tyler Texas. Her Sister-in-law, Sandra and her husband, Gary Bayes of Columbus, Ohio.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews throughout the country. Shirlene raised her family with her husband, Dave in Roswell, New Mexico. Where she worked as a cosmetologist for over 20 years, forging lifelong friendships with her co-workers and clientele along the way. She loved being with her family more than anything else in life. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially the mountains of New Mexico. She was a very creative individual that shared her hobbies with her family. Her hobbies included: raising orchids, crocheting, beaded jewelry work. ceramics, and stained-glass work.

The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice of Roswell, in particular Leslie and Tori, for making it possible for her to spend her final days with her family, in the comfort of her home. Shirlene and her husband Dave attended services at Grace Community Church in Roswell. There will be small memorial for family only held in the Columbarium, Thursday, March 04, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
