Altrusa International donates to Community Kitchen

The Community Service Committee of Altrusa International of Roswell, NM, Inc. recently donated $250 to the Community Kitchen.

The Community Kitchen has been providing a free meal to anyone in Roswell since 1982. To date, they have served over 1,100,000 meals.

The Community Kitchen relies solely on donations and goods donated by businesses, civic organizations, churches and the good citizens of Roswell, NM.

They provide a hot meal Monday-Friday and a sack lunch on the weekends. The meals are free of charge to anyone who is hungry.

Members of Altrusa also volunteer their time to help out at the Community Kitchen.
