On Monday, they met with students of All Saints Catholic Schools, the Aviation Maintenance Technology program of Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell and the Aviation Explorer Post 103 of the Boy Scouts of America, as well as with board members of the Walker Aviation Museum.

“This was a small group of very excited up-and-coming aviators,” said Juliana Halvorson, who provided the photos of students. “We are so grateful to have the 509th back in Roswell and appreciate them welcoming us. … We look forward to their return.”

She added that students also saw some T-38s from Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, land while they were at the Roswell Air Center.
