Over $3K in items stolen in Mescalero Road burglary

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Police were dispatched Feb. 26 at 7:54 p.m. to the 300 block of Mescalero Road in reference to a burglary. The following items were reported stolen: a pound of marijuana valued at $250, a water pipe valued at $245, a Nintendo Switch valued at $300, a laptop valued at $250, a firearm valued at $700 and five pairs of shoes with a combined value of $1,500.

Arrests/citations

Jennifer Renee Samora-Martinez on Feb. 28 at 10:50 p.m. was charged with controlled substances; possession prohibited while in the 300 block of South Beech Avenue.

Maria Isabella Aguero on March 3 at 1:51 p.m. was charged with controlled substances; possession prohibited while in the 700 block of South Washington Avenue.

Criminal damage

An officer responded Feb. 26 at 9:21 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 800 block of North Missouri Avenue. A passenger window valued at $250 on a Honda SUV was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched Feb. 27 at 1:01 a.m. to the zero block of Cajun Court in reference to a criminal damage call. A front door valued at $250 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched Feb. 27 at 12:09 p.m. to the 2500 block of North Main Street in reference to criminal damage. A fuel pump, a support post and restroom surfaces each sustained $100 in damage.

Police responded Feb. 27 at 7:55 p.m. to a domestic dispute in the 900 block of Cherry Street. A window valued at $100 was reported broken.

An officer was dispatched March 1 at 10:22 a.m. to the 1100 block of West Second Street in reference to a criminal damage call. A window valued at $1,500 and a mailbox valued at $150 were both reported damaged.

Police responded March 2 at 3:49 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 500 block of East Fifth Street. Two gas heaters with a combined value of $400 were reported stolen. A vanity valued at $120 and electronic wires valued at $1,000 were reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

An officer was dispatched Feb. 26 at 1:10 p.m. to the 1600 block of South Washington Avenue in reference to a larceny. A Louis Vuitton handbag valued at $1,400 was reported stolen.

Police responded Feb. 27 at 11:57 a.m. to a burglary that had occurred in the 100 block of North Ohio Avenue. A bag of tools with a combined value of $185, five outlets with a combined value of $20 and stucco valued at $300 were reported stolen. A kitchen cabinet valued at $250 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched Feb. 28 at 8:42 a.m. to the 1300 block of Alicia Lane in reference to the vehicle burglary of a 2019 Ford F-150. An iPhone 11 valued at $1,000, cigarettes valued at $10, a construction jacket valued at $80, a beanie valued at $10 and gloves valued at $10 were all reported stolen.

Police were dispatched Feb. 28 at 8:22 a.m. to the 1500 block of South Garden Avenue in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A 1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck was reported stolen.

Police responded March 1 at 11:08 a.m. to a larceny that occurred in the 400 block of Rowland Drive. An AM/FM radio valued at $144.59 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched on March 1 at 11:15 a.m. to a larceny call in the 100 block of South Virginia Avenue. Ten pieces of plywood with a combined value of $400 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched March 2 at 8:56 p.m. to the 4500 block of North Main Street in reference to a vehicle burglary of a 2016 Chevy. Cash in the amount of $100 and a wallet valued at $50 were reported stolen.

An officer responded March 3 at 7:45 a.m. to a criminal damage call in the 600 block of West Second Street. A door and a window, each valued at $100 were reported damaged.

Police responded March 4 at 5:49 a.m. to a larceny in the 2300 block of North Main Street. Cash in the amount of $320 was reported stolen.
