Our beloved sister Sylvia Inez Sosa was suddenly called on Sunday, January 31, 2021. She passed away peacefully of natural causes at her residence in Roswell, New Mexico.

A private family burial service was held on March 1, 2021, as recommended by COVID restrictions. Burial service included Catholic services, music and a eulogy shared by family.

Sylvia was born on June 2, 1961, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Adon B. Sosa and Elvira W. Sosa. She graduated from Roswell High School in 1979. Sylvia was a CNA and worked for Home Health for over thirty years in Roswell, Artesia, Ruidoso, and Carlsbad, NM. She also worked as a CNA in Durango, Colorado. Sylvia was well known for her compassion and precise documentation.

Sylvia leaves behind her adult children, Mario and Le Ana which she loved very much. She holds a special place in our hearts always.

She was preceeded in death by her father, Adon B. Sosa, brother, David Biscano (Pauline), and both sets of grandparents (Eusebio and Felipa Sosa) of Artesia, NM and (Valentine and Angelita Wilson) of Carlsbad, NM. Those surviving who will always miss and love her are her mother, Elvira Wilson Sosa, brother Dan, and two sisters, Janie (Tony Mendoza) and Sandra (Edward Chavez), numerous beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and their families on both sides of the family who live in various states.
