Richard Gene Holdridge, 79, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021, in Roswell, New Mexico, after a long illness. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Richard’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Graveside Service for Richard at South Park Cemetery on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 2:00 PM.

On March 22, 1941, Richard was born to Joe R. and Cora R. Holdridge in Roswell, New Mexico. He was the beloved husband of Lydia C. Holdridge, who he married on September 10, 2007. Richard was a Member of the Midway Assembly of God. He enjoyed riding horses, especially bronco riding, it was his favorite pastime. Richard liked watching western movies. Richard would keep himself busy working on cars and building projects. He will be missed by his family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Richard are his loving wife, Lydia C. Holdridge; children: Robi Yalch, Linda Trujillo, Patricia Russell, and Jennifer Dronberger; grandchildren: Michael, Melissa, Hope, Samuel Herrera, Marcus Goodyear, Leslie, Alberta, and Richard Russell, Mathew and Tyler Dronberger; great-grandchildren: Lucas, Samuel, Liam, Irvin, Shantell, Claudette, Zendaya, Freya, Eric, Estrella, Solida, Estefan, Ysabella, Gabrella, Dominic, Samuel, Samael, and Michael; siblings: Steve, Cora, Lilydale, Barbara, Norma, and Mary Jo; nieces and nephews: Patsy, Tammy, Cheryl, Cora, Richard Ray, Stevie, Charles, Michelle, Marsha, Phillip, Joe, Michael, Andrea, Darren, Dawn, Steven, Chris Grady Jr, Hellen, Marshell, and Elliot.

PRECEDED: Richard is preceded in death by his first wife, Alberta Joyce Holdridge; granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Russell; great-granddaughter, Cassandra Herrera; parents; Joe R. Holdridge and Cora r. Holdridge; and brothers: Alvin, Jack, and James.
