Roswell Police Department officers will be conducting “zero-tolerance” operations targeting speeders in a residential area of the city, according to a press release issued by the department.

“In response to frequent reports of speeding vehicles on and around the section of West Eighth Street west of Sycamore Avenue, in the Enchanted Hills residential area, RPD officers will be conducting ‘zero-tolerance’ operations in that area in the near future,” according to the release.

RPD called on motorists to drive within the speed limit to help prevent accidents and injuries to themselves and fellow citizens.

“We all must take care of each other and not put others in danger on our streets,” the release states. “Drive safely.”
