RAMON FARMER, 81, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Ramon’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Rosary for Ramon on Monday, April 5, 2021, at 6:00 PM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. A Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at the Ave. Maria Center.

On January 3, 1940, Ramon was born to Juan M. Farmer and Josefita Saiz Farmer in Carrizozo, New Mexico. He graduated from High School and later enlisted in the United States National Guard for three years. Ramon received a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate for healthcare. Throughout his life, he worked as a janitor for Marriot Hotels, Glover’s Packing Company, TMC, Water Tankers, and even became an entrepreneur, owning a restaurant for 1 ½ year. Ramon received a Union Stewart certificate for Glover’s Meat Cutters of North America. He was a member of the Roswell Adult Center. In 1980, Ramon coached Eastside Little League, which took them to all-state. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He was an avid member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Ramon enjoyed playing pool, fishing, hunting, and listening to Spanish music. His most memorable moments were cruising with his friends, boxing, but mostly spending time with his grandkids.

SURVIVORS: Ramon is survived by his children: Ray Farmer and wife Marie (Gaye), Pat Juarez and husband Paul, Ernie Urquides, Larry Villarreal and wife Diane, Raymond Famer Jr, and Erica Renee Montoya; grandchildren: Danille Urquides, Steven Farmer, Laura Farmer, Conrad Acosta, Brandy Acosta, Adrian Acosta, Issac Briseno, Leann Briseno, Savannah Briseno, Fermine Montoya, and Stanley Montoya; numerous great-grandchildren, particularly, Virgila Montoya and Fermine Montoya Jr. that he genuinely loved; sisters: Cecilia J. Sanchez, and Josie Montoya; multiple nieces and nephews; as well as all his friends at the Wilshire Apartments.

PRECEDED: Ramon is preceded in death by his children: Stephen Farmer, Salvador Briseno; parents, Juan M. Farmer and Josefita Saiz Farmer; son-in-law, Frank Montoya Sr; and grandson, Benny Ray Briseno; grandparents: Celestina Aragon Saiz and Pablo Saiz; and siblings: Juanita Maribal, Benito Garcia, Vevo Farmer, MaryAnn Trujillo.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Blessed to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are his grandchildren: Danille Urquides, Steven Farmer, Laura Farmer, Conrad Acosta, Brandy Acosta, Adrian Acosta, Issac Briseno, Leann Briseno, Savannah Briseno, Fermine Montoya, and Stanley Montoya.

PALLBEARERS: Honored to serve as Pallbearers are his great-grandchildren: Christopher Andazola, Daniel Andazola, Cecilia Sanchez, and Candido Andazola.
