House reportedly sustains 4K in damage from gunfire

An officer was dispatched April 16 at 1:49 p.m. to the 200 block of West Bland Street in reference to a shooting at a dwelling, occupied building or from a motor vehicle. A house was reported to have sustained $4,000 in damage.

Arrests/citations

Luiz Daniel Loera-Duron was charged April 21 at 3:51 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Second Street with shooting at a dwelling, occupied building or from a motor vehicle.

Devin Aaron Gonzales was charged April 22 at 1:20 a.m. with driving while license suspended or revoked in the 100 block of East Berrendo Road.

Alexandra Garcia was charged April 22 at 1:35 a.m. with failure to comply and controlled substances, possession prohibited in the 1200 block of West Alameda Street.

Criminal damage

Police responded April 16 at 10:37 a.m. to a criminal damage call in the 1900 block of Sunset Avenue. A door frame valued at $100 was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched April 16 at 7:38 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 200 block of East 19th Street. A 4-foot commercial sign valued at $5,000 was reported damaged.

Police responded April 18 at 12:07 a.m. to a criminal damage call in the 1600 block of South Michigan Avenue. A front windshield valued at $300 on a 2009 Chevy was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched April 18 at 11:35 a.m. to the 1500 block of South Main Street in reference to a criminal damage call. Three windows with a combined value of $400 and window panes valued at $2,000 were reported damaged.

Police were dispatched April 18 at 5:55 p.m. to the 2000 block of West Deming Street in reference to a report of criminal damage. A window valued at $300 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched April 20 at 9:50 a.m. to the 700 block of West 14th Street in reference to a criminal damage call. A rear windshield valued at $260 was reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

Police responded to a vehicle burglary April 17 at 9:37 a.m. in the 2300 block of South Berkeley Drive. Cash in the amount of $300 and a firearm valued at $500 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched April 17 at 8:01 p.m. to the 900 block of Davidson Road in reference to a larceny from buildings. Cash in the amount of $1,000 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched April 18 at 3:50 p.m. to the 4500 block of North Main Street in reference to a larceny shoplifting. Food valued at $12.90 and other merchandise with a combined value of $215.90 were reported stolen.

Police responded April 19 at 3:16 p.m. to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle or trailer in the 500 block of East Fourth Street. A 1998 homemade trailer valued at $1,300 was reported stolen.

An officer responded April 20 at 4:51 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Poe Street to a stolen vehicle. A 2009 GMC pickup valued at $3,000 was reported stolen, along with a cellphone valued at $100 and two credit or debit cards.

Police were dispatched April 21 at 9:39 a.m. to the 900 block of South Garden Avenue in reference to a burglary. A jar containing $36 in cash, a digital video recorder valued at $100, a camera screen valued at $20, a vacuum valued at $450, and a camera valued at $79 were reported stolen.

Police responded April 21 at 9:41 a.m. to a report of fraud in the 2200 block of North Main Street. Money in the amount of $1,408.81 was reported stolen.
