Eastern New Mexico Medical Center celebrated Volunteer Week the week of April 19. CEO Warren Yehl shared his thoughts about the hospital’s volunteers. “One thing that COVID has taught us is the true value of our volunteers,” he said. “It was a very long year without their bright smiles and warm hugs to get us through the day. We are so thankful to have them back in the building and touching the lives of our patients and staff!” Regarding Volunteer Week, Yehl said, “Please help us to say thank you so much for the immeasurably valuable work they have done for our hospital, staff and community. Their dedication is essential to the work that we do. We cannot do it without them. We would not want to do it without them. They bring ideas, positive energy and compassion to ENMMC every day.” (Submitted Photo)
