SERVICES: There will be a Mass for Guerito on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

On July 4, 1986, Guerito was born to Abelardo M. Marquez and Beatrice Fuentez Marquez in Roswell, New Mexico, where he graduated from Goddard High School. Jesus was one of a kind and was always there to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it. He never met a stranger and would give anyone whatever he had at the moment to offer. Guerito was the son, uncle, cousin, brother, and friend you could always count on anytime, especially to babysit. He enjoyed building a bond with all of the kids, as he, himself was the biggest kid at heart, is one of many ways to describe Guerito.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Guerito. He loved to go fishing, listen to the music of all types. While Guerito was indoors, he enjoyed watching his favorite cartoons with a bowl of cereal in hand. He found happiness in spending quality time with his family and friends. During Guerito’s lifetime, he loved collecting anything that was Superman. His pleasant, goofy personality was contagious to everyone he met. We are all going to miss him incredibly—Guerito’s presence, humor, and, most importantly, his love for us all.
