Carol Sue Rogers, 83, of Lake City, KS, died Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Ascension Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita, KS.

She was born on April 20, 1938, in Dodge City, KS, the daughter of Dan Lake and Lillian (Cooke) Lake. On August 19, 1956, she married Grant S. Rogers in Hill City, KS. He survives. “We have traveled coast to coast, border to border, and beyond.”

Carol was a homemaker and a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church and the Lake City Women’s Christian Association.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Grant S. Rogers of Lake City, KS are two sons, Sanford Rogers of Amarillo, TX and Wayne (Carol Ann) Rogers of Roswell, NM; one granddaughter, Sasha Kaye Rogers; one great-grandchild, Ezra; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dana Trump.

Friends may sign the register book on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Kathy Webster officiating. Burial will be at Lake City Cemetery, Lake City, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake City United Methodist Church, in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.
