Cecilia Torres, 78, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Cecilia’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: A Viewing will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church in San Patricio, New Mexico, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 9:00 AM, followed by a Rosary and Mass starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hondo Cemetery.

On November 1, 1942, Cecilia was born to Eliseo Gallegos and Rosa Montoya Gallegos in San Patricio, New Mexico, and graduated from Hondo High School. She was the beloved wife of Ramon L. Torres, who preceded her in death in December of 2019. Cecilia was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Prior to retirement, she worked for fifteen years at Nova Bus of Roswell, New Mexico.

Cecilia loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, they were her life’s greatest treasure. Her most memorable moments were when she would travel with her husband or loved ones and was fortunate to see many places. Cecilia even loved short trips, especially if it was to the casino, it was her favorite place to go. Her family will carry fond memories of her, and all will greatly miss her.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Cecilia are her son, Michael Patrick Torres and wife Nora; grandchildren: Dominic Ray Torres and wife Dixie, Danica Dolores Torres and Danielle Rosa Torres; great-grandchildren: Raelynn Cecilia Torres, Hendrix Ty Torres and Daisy Lou Torres; siblings: Euloio Gallegos and wife Vitalia, Gilbert “Chapo” Gallegos and wife Josie, Jesse Gallegos and wife Carmen, Lupe Polaco and husband Gilbert, Joseph Gallegos and wife Connie, Robert Gallegos and wife Mercy and Priscilla Romero and husband Paul; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends: Minnie Levano and Mary Helen Franco.

PRECEDED: Cecilia is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon L. Torres; daughter, Dolores Torres; parents: Eliseo Gallegos and Rosa Montoya Gallegos; and brother, Albert “Cuate” Gallegos and wife Rita.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Blessed to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Torres, Danica Torres and Danielle Torres.

PALLBEARERS: Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Dominic Torres, Eulogio Gallegos, Steven Gallegos, Leonard Sanchez, Manny Garcia and Larry Stone.

A special acknowledgment with sincere gratitude goes to our niece, Eileen Garcia.
