On November 23, 2020 Elouise R. Ortega, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at age 63 in Roswell, New Mexico. A Graveside service will be held at South Park Cemetery on Friday June 11th at 2:00 pm.

Elouise was born on January 9, 1957 in Roswell, NM, to Louis Vincent Torres and Beatrice Rue Sisneros. Elouise was a caregiver and an arts and crafts teacher for most of her life. She loved to give back to the community as a member of the Las Chismosas and Sunrise Optimist Club of Roswell. Her spirit and presence will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Elouise leaves behind her children: Alisa and Eric Cannon, Christine and Johnny Pacheco, Robert Ortega Jr., and Diane Ortega; grandchildren: Ashley Cannon, Julian Orduno, Isaiah Pacheco, Niam Cannon, Ethan Sedillo, Ericca Cannon, Dominik Sedillo, Angel Renteria and Genesis Ortega; great-grandchildren: Ryan Ortega and Dray Pacheco; siblings Bertha Salazar, Matthew Sisneros, Mark Sisneros, and Jerry Sisneros; nieces and nephews: Josh Salazar, Flavio Jr. Salazar, Lucas Salazar, Julia Craft, Priscilla and Jacob Sisneros, Louie Torres, Adrian Torres, Julia Torres, Jr. Torres, and Nicholas Torres; as well as her godchildren: Isaac Castillo, Carlos Irving, and Adrian Torres.

Elouise is preceded in death by her grandson, Robert “Bobby” Ortega III; father of her children, Robert Ortega Sr.; grandmother Aneda Torres, parents, Louis Vincent Torres and Beatrice Rue Sisneros; her brothers Amado Torres and Senon Sisneros.
