32 hair pieces among items reported stolen

An officer was dispatched June 15 at 10:30 p.m. to the 600 block of East Alameda Street in reference to a burglary forced entry. A bag with cash and coins valued at $27, a smart TV valued at $1,000 and 32 hair pieces with a combined value of $640 were reported stolen.

Arrests/citations

Dominick Irineo Carabajal was charged June 15 at 11:49 p.m. with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs while at a 900 block of North Virginia Avenue location.

An officer was dispatched June 12 at 5:26 a.m. to the 800 block of North Washington Avenue in reference to a criminal damage call. Two vehicle windows with a combined value of $600 were reported damaged.

Police responded June 12 at 8:30 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 3100 block of South Purdue Drive. A door valued at $250 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched June 14 at 3:23 p.m. to the 400 block of North Virginia Avenue in reference to a criminal damage call. A passenger mirror valued at $150 on a 2015 Ford was reported damaged.

Police responded June 14 at 11:43 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 1100 block of South Kentucky Avenue. A window valued at $500 and a wall valued at $400 were each reported damaged.

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched June 11 at 7:33 a.m. to a vehicle burglary in the 1400 block of Adams Avenue. An Impact wrench valued at $500, a pocketknife valued at $1 and a baseball cap valued at $1 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched June 11 at 12:35 a.m. to the 700 block of Peach Street in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A 2002 Chevy Silverado was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched June 11 at 1:36 p.m. to the 100 block of East Forest Street in reference to a larceny. A catalytic converter valued at $400 was reported stolen.

Officers responded June 11 at 6:47 p.m. to a larceny shoplifting in the 1300 block of South Main Street. Reported stolen were the following items: a knife valued at $35; ammunition with a combined value of $138.96 and a bag for outdoor supplies valued at $12.99.

Police were dispatched June 12 at 11:38 a.m. to the 400 block of East 23rd Street in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A 2014 Nissan Rogue was reported stolen along with a cellphone valued at $100, a wallet valued at $10, and Xanax valued at $10.

An officer responded June 12 at 8:33 p.m. to a larceny in the 400 block of East Deming Street. A pistol valued at $300 and set of keys valued at $5 were reported stolen.

Police responded June 15 at 9:08 a.m. to a vehicle burglary in the 3500 block of Encanto Drive. A handgun valued at $400 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched June 16 at 12:35 a.m. to a larceny in the 100 block of East College Boulevard. A makeup bag valued at $300 and a handheld torch valued at $20 were reported stolen. 

Police responded June 17 at 12:28 a.m to a larceny in the 300 block of North Missouri Avenue. Cash in the amount of $398.24 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched June 17 at 9:10 a.m. to the 100 block of North Kansas Avenue in reference to a burglary and criminal damage call. Four windows with a combined value of $1,000 were reported damaged. A stove valued at $500 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched June 17 at 7:07 p.m. to the 1700 block of West 2nd Street in reference to a larceny shoplifting. Groceries with a combined value of $323.90 were reported stolen.

An officer responded to a robbery June 18 at 12:21 a.m. in the 500 block of East 3rd Street. A 2005 Mazda Tribute was reported stolen.
