Diamond and gold jewelry reported stolen in burglary

A 5-carat diamond and a 24-carat gold necklace with a combined value of $11,000 were reported stolen July 19 at 10:26 a.m. from a 300 block of North Virginia Avenue location.

Arrests/citations

Abe Peters Klassen was charged July 19 at 9:06 p.m. with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs in the 300 block of West Country Club Road.

Aliyah Victoria Gustamantes was charged July 20 at 12:09 a.m. with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs in the 1000 block of South Lea Avenue.

Rudy Vallejos was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs July 22 at 10:22 p.m. in the 800 block of West 12th Street.

Arsons/criminal damage

On July 17 at 10:02 a.m., a window valued at $200 was reported damaged in the 300 block of North Main Street.

A 2001 Chevy Caviler was reported stolen July 17 at 8:07 p.m. in the 200 block of Wildy Street.

A $200 office door was reported damaged July 20 at 1:09 p.m. in the 400 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue

Police responded to a criminal damage call July 21 at 9:19 a.m. in the 500 block of East Second Street. A sign valued at $100 was reported damaged.

On July 21 at 10:09 p.m., a door window valued at $100 was reported damaged in the 400 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue.

Larcenies/thefts

An officer responded July 17 at 8 p.m. to a larceny call in the 600 block of West Alameda St. A 9 mm Ruger handgun valued at $250 was reported stolen.

On July 18 at 7:15 a.m., a 2013 Ford Focus was reported stolen from a 400 block of West Country Club Road address.

On July 19 at 6:03 a.m., a Ruger handgun valued at $680 was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Highland Road.

Police were dispatched July 20 at 2:13 p.m. to the 900 block of West Ninth Street in reference to a burglary from a vehicle. A SIG Sauer P 365 handgun valued at $635 was reported stolen.

A $160 Dewalt air drill, a $325 impact and sheet drill set, three Dewalt drills with a combined value of $130 and a two-pack of drill batteries valued at $189 were reported stolen July 19 at 10:28 a.m. from a 2000 block of North Kentucky Avenue location.

On July 20 at 1:04 a.m., a 2016 Honda Accord was reported stolen from an 1800 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue address.

A Schwinn Copeland bicycle valued at $154 was reported stolen from the zero block of Riverside Drive on July 21 at 5:25 p.m.
