Chainsaw reported stolen from city facility

An employee of the city of Roswell has told police a city property experienced a break-in and a theft. According to a Roswell Police Department report, officers responded at 10:14 a.m. on July 29 to 300 E. Walnut St. regarding a report of a stolen chainsaw and forced entry into the premises. The site is used as a public works facility.

Arrests/Citations

David X. Delgado, 28, was charged in the zero block of Grand Avenue Plaza at 10:10 a.m. on July 26 with shoplifting, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

At 12:17 a.m. on July 26 in the 2100 block of West Deming Street, Joshua J. Garcia, 25, was charged with aggravated battery, aggravated burglary and abandonment or abuse of a child.

Christopher Garcia-Perez, 24, was charged at 12:19 a.m. on July 26 in the 200 block of South Washington Avenue with causing criminal damage to property.

David B. Webb, 44, was charged at 3:42 p.m. on July 26 in the zero block of H Street with failure to appear.

Sarina Madrid, 32, was charged at 8:03 a.m. on July 27 in the 900 block of North Plains Park Drive with battery against a household member.

Jonathan Scott Nied, 27, was charged at 12:02 a.m. on July 27 in the 100 block of West Second Street with failure to appear.

At 3:59 p.m. on July 27 in the 1100 block of West Second Street, Anastacia Marie Delarosa, 22, was charged with failure to pay fines.

Joseph Y. Stone, 30, was charged at 11:29 p.m. on July 27 in the 1800 block of North Union Avenue with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, aggravated fleeing from a police officer, reckless driving and charges related to the licensing of drivers and entering an intersection.

Susan Shrea Buckner, 41, was charged at 1:15 a.m. on July 28 in the 1600 block of West Tilden Street with failure to comply and concealing identify.

At 1 a.m. on July 28 in the 1500 block of West Tilden Street, Dustin Bromley Deuley, 21, was detained for a warrant issued by other law enforcement agencies.

Albert N. Ornelas, 23, was charged at 2:10 a.m. on July 28 in the 900 block of West Second Street for failure to appear.

Marquel Kevin Warner, 25, was charged at 5:52 p.m. on July 28 in the 200 block of Conner Street with transport and/or receipt of firearms or destructive devices by a felon.

Duane A. Porter, 62, was charged at 10:42 p.m. on July 28 in the 100 block of South Ohio Avenue with disorderly conduct and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Oscar O. Montes, 28, was charged at 3 a.m. on July 29 in the 100 block of West Second Street with false imprisonment, interference with communications, aggravated assault against a household member and aggravated battery against a household member.

At 10:09 a.m. on July 29 in the 100 block of West Walnut Street, Marcos Angel David Ferrazas, 27, was charged with shoplifting and concealing identity.

Two people were charged with obstructing an officer during an encounter July 29 at about 2:55 p.m. in the 700 block of Three Cross Drive. They were Andrea Lea Pope, 46, and Benjamin J. Cloud, 57.

Eric Martin Ruiz, 26, was charged at 8:30 p.m. on July 29 in the 1700 block of West Second Street with failure to register as a sex offender.

Adrian James Aguirre, 36, was charged at 1:45 a.m. on July 30 in the 1200 block of East Second Street with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs and driving while license was suspended or revoked.

David Allen Storie, 33, was charged on 3:47 a.m. on July 30 in the 1100 Block of West Third Street with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Assaults/Batteries

Roswell Police officers took a report of battery on a household member in the 1200 block of West Deming Street at 2:39 p.m. on July 26.

A man in the 700 block of East Bland Street made a report at 11:21 p.m. on July 26 of an assault in his home.

Roswell police took a report of battery on a household member in the 1200 block of East Beech Street on July 27 at 7:31 a.m.

A battery was reported at 6:57 p.m. on July 28 in the 3000 block of North Main Street.

Roswell Police officers responded at 9:43 p.m. on July 28 to the 2200 block of Carver Drive concerning a complaint of an aggravated assault with a firearm and false imprisonment.

Criminal Damage

A 2014 vehicle was reported damaged at midnight on July 28 after shots were fired near a nightclub in the 1100 block of West Second Street.

Damage to a 2016 motorcycle was reported 4:52 a.m. on July 30 in the 500 block of West Brasher Road.

Larcenies/Thefts

Roswell Police officers responded to an address in the 100 block of West Second Street at 9:26 a.m. on July 26 regarding an extortion or blackmail complaint. Officers indicated that $150 was reported stolen.

A report of the theft of cremated remains at a residence in the zero block of Briarwood Place was taken by police at 11:41 a.m. on July 26.

At 10:15 a.m. on July 27 in the 1000 block of South Plains Park Drive, a vehicle was reported stolen.

A report was taken at the National 9 Inn at 2001 N. Main St. at 10:24 p.m. on July 27 about a handgun stolen from a room.

At 11:30 a.m. on July 28 in the 1500 block of Greenwood Avenue, a report was taken of a 2001 vehicle stolen from a residence.

A stolen wallet, identification, a social security number written on a piece of paper, debit and credit cards, and medications were reported stolen at 10:34 p.m. on July 28 at a hotel in the 2100 block of West Second St.

At 10:05 a.m. on July 29, a paint marker valued at about $23 and a paint scraper valued at about $12 were reported stolen from a store in the 200 block of S. Main St.
