Effective Aug. 2, ENMU-Roswell began requiring masks to be worn indoors by all individuals, vaccinated and unvaccinated, according to a press release issued by ENMU.

“Masks must be worn in any indoor group setting, including classrooms,” according to the press release. “All students, faculty, staff and visitors must wear their masks at all times in ENMU-Roswell buildings unless they are eating, drinking, or in an office alone.

“ENMU-Roswell is requiring unvaccinated individuals to wear masks outdoors when unable to socially distance. Vaccinated individuals are not required to wear masks outdoors.”

Currently, ENMU-Roswell is not requiring members of the ENMU-Roswell Community to provide proof of vaccination status.

“We are confident that the members of our community will do the right thing and follow our protocols as it relates to their individual vaccination status,” the press release states, adding that the directive will be in effect until further notice.
