One car reported stolen, another sustains damage

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Police were dispatched Aug. 10 at 8:24 a.m. to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and a criminal damage call in the 1800 block of West 2nd Street. A 2005 Dodge valued at $9,500 was reported stolen and a 2018 Nissan sustained $10,000 in damage.

Arrests/citations

Santana Cerise Jiminez was charged Aug. 7 at 2:45 a.m. with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs at a 1000 block of West Hobbs Street address.

Isauro Gonzales-Sotelo was charged Aug. 12 at 2:56 a.m. with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs in the 2100 block of North Main Street.

Arsons/criminal damage

A window valued at $500 was reported damaged Aug. 6 at 1:18 p.m. at a 600 block of North Main Street location.

A door valued at $100 and a $500 glass door were reported damaged Aug 7 at 6:15 a.m. in the 600 block of North Kansas Avenue.

On Aug. 7 at 9:43 p.m. a garage door valued at $100 was reported damaged at a 1000 block of West Poe Street location.

Larcenies/thefts

On Aug. 7 at 6:18 p.m. police were dispatched to the 100 block of Byrne Street in reference to a burglary forced entry. The following items were reported stolen: kitchen knives with a combined value of $20; a $150 Playstation 4; a security system digital video recorder valued at $150; a $500 television set; and a $40 microwave.

Police responded Aug. 7 at 10:02 p.m. to a criminal damage call in the 1000 block of North Greenwood Avenue. A tire rim valued at $100 and metal roof sheets with a combined value of $2,400 were reported stolen. A $400 wooden wall; four doors with a combined value of $1,000; and a gate valued at $100 were reported stolen.

On Aug. 10 at 8:09 a.m. $15,700 was reported stolen in a wire fraud in the 100 block of East 5th Street.

A handgun valued at $350 was reported stolen from a vehicle Aug 10 at 8:16 p.m. in the 2400 block of Cornell Drive.

Police responded Aug. 12 at 3:44 p.m. to a call about fraud in the 800 block of West Second Street. Cash in the amount of $620 was reported stolen from an EBT card.
