North Garden store reports fuel stolen

A significant amount of fuel was reported stolen on Aug. 18 at 5:18 a.m. by a convenience store in the 1500 block of North Garden. According to an incident report, a store associate reported that someone had “skipped” out on paying $271.42 in fuel.

Arrests/citations

Jeremy Andrew Determan was charged Aug. 13 at 8:49 p.m. with aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicated liquor or drugs in the 2100 block of North Main Street.

Comet Haley Garcia was charged on Aug. 13 at 9:15 p.m. with aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs in the 2600 block of North Main Street.

Chad Kenny Simmons was charged Aug. 15 at 2:03 a.m. in the zero block of Riverside Drive with controlled substances; possession prohibited.

Arsons/criminal damage

On Aug. 13 at 2:30 p.m., a glass door valued at $700 was reported damaged at a 1000 block of Ivy Drive address.

Two windows with a combined value of $600 were reported damaged Aug. 14 at 8:04 a.m. in the 1600 block of Washington Avenue.

Two windshields with a combined value of $600 were reported damaged Aug. 15 at 11:42 a.m in the 600 block of Woody Drive.

A $500 glass door was reported damaged Aug. 15 at 2:03 p.m. in the 700 block of South Washington Avenue.

On Aug. 15 at 10:30 p.m., a large glass window valued at $1,500 was reported damaged in the 100 block of West McGaffey Street.

Concrete framing valued at $375 was reported damaged at a zero block of Eagle Place address on Aug. 16 at 9:53 a.m.

Police on Aug. 16 at 11:39 a.m. responded to a report of $500 in damage to a 2016 Dodge Ram. The incident occurred in the zero block of Taos Court.

A 2018 Chevy pickup truck valued at $1,000 was reported damaged Aug. 16 at 8:55 a.m. while in the 800 block of North Richardson Avenue.

On Aug. 16 at 11 a.m., two plant pots with a combined value of $300 were reported damaged in the 1200 block of North Washington Avenue.

Police responded to a call on Aug. 16 at 2:36 p.m. in the 100 block of South Michigan Avenue. A $1,000 glass door was reported damaged.

Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue on Aug. 17 at 12:30 a.m. in reference to a criminal damage call and a report of shooting at a dwelling or occupied building from a motor vehicle. A 2008 BMW and a 2011 Honda, each valued at $1,000, were reported damaged. An apartment that was struck also sustained $100 in damage.

On Aug. 17 at 7:09 a.m., a $200 vehicle tire was reported damaged in the zero block of West Martin Street.

A door key pad valued at $400 was reported damaged Aug. 17 at 8:02 a.m. at a 200 block of East Chisum Street address.

Police were dispatched to a criminal damage call in the 600 block of North Main Street on Aug. 17 at 9:34 a.m. A window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

Two Chevy vehicles, each valued at $1,000, were reported damaged Aug. 17 at 6:48 p.m. at a 700 block of South Plaza Drive address.

Larcenies/thefts

Police responded to a larceny shoplifting Aug. 13 at 4:24 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Main Street. Items valued at $101.79 were reported stolen.

On Aug. 14 at 8:25 p.m., a $300 Huffy bicycle was reported stolen from a 900 block of West Second Street location.

Various tools with a combined value of $1,000; couches with a combined value of $4,000; and $2,000 in rugs were reported stolen Aug. 15 at 8:07 p.m. from the 1200 block of West Third Street.

A zipper wallet valued at $20 and $200 in cash were reported stolen from the 3500 block of North Main Street on Aug. 15 at 9:31 p.m.

Tools with a combined value of $1,000 and shoes with a combined value of $400 and a 2017 Nissan Versa were reported stolen Aug. 16 at 6:05 a.m. from a 1900 block of South Sunset Avenue address.

A 2020 Honda was reported stolen from the 500 block of South Kentucky Avenue on Aug. 17 at 12:04 a.m.

On Aug. 18 at 7:47 a.m., a $500 Yeti cooler, two black boxes with a combined value of $500 and $500 in tools were reported stolen from a zero block of Military Heights Drive address.
