Jorge Albert Grajeda, 45, of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Jorge’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a viewing from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Roswell, NM, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On September 23, 1975, Jorge was born Jesus Antonio and Anita Grajeda in Riva Palacio, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a semi-truck driver and traveled many miles on his “Blue Thunder,” as Jorge called it. He made his arrival know by honking his horn to let everyone know he was home. One of Jorge’s favorite pastimes was spending time with his family, loved ones, and friends. He was the life of every party. Jorge always had a smile on his face, and strangers became friends. He enjoyed riding his Harley on summer nights with the love of his life, Catalina. Jorge always found the opportunity to dance with his daughter or even himself if the song was good.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish Jorge’s memory are his beloved wife, Catalina Alvarez; children: Iriana Grajeda, Evelyn Grajeda, DeVonny Grajeda, Jorge Grajeda Jr, Kylie Grajeda, and Jorge Larios; grandchildren: Aalia Arroyo and Aliana Arroyo; parents: Jesus Antonio and Anita Grajeda; siblings: brother Marco and wife Nancy Grajeda and their children: Marco Jr, Ramiro, and David Grajeda; brother Jose and wife Liliana and their children: Jose Dominguez, Aaron, and Joel Grajeda, Alondra and Noemi Acosta, Raymundo and Melanie Varela; sister Elizabeth and Luis O. Loya and their children: Ivon and Valente Bernal, Karen, Briana, and Omar Loya; great-nieces and nephews: Sophia, and Santiago Bernal, Ulysses Martinez; sister Rosana Grajeda and husband Martin Saldaña (deceased) , Kenia and Martin Saldaña Jr and their children: Regina and Edward Baker, Maggie and Jesus B. Saldaña and great-nieces and nephews: Mia Saldaña, Maliany Saldaña, Martin Saldaña III, sister Claudia and husband Guillermo Ruiz Jr. and their children: Jonathan, Gabriela, and Liliana Ruiz; sister Lorena and husband Juan Collazo and their children: Juan Jr, Yurisa and Anelyza Collazo; sister Adriana and husband Elias Muñoz and their children: Daisy and Diego Muñoz.

PRECEDED: Jorge is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Pantaleon Rivera Granados and Juana Chavira de Granados; paternal grandparents: Josefa Arias Rivera and Jose Grajeda Perea; and his aunts and uncles: Victor Grajeda Arias, Juan Grajeda Arias, Socorro Grajeda, Carmela Grajeda, Asencion Grajeda, Carlos Granados, and Enedina Granados.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Those blessed to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are: Robert Quezada, Javier Márquez, Efrén Jurado, José A. Jorge’s tribute was written in his honor by his family.

Jorge’s quote was, “In life, we loved you dearly, in death, we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.” His spirit, smile, and presence will be dearly missed, and his quote will always stay in our hearts.
