Pavement-maintenance projects will take place Oct. 11 through Oct. 16 on two of Roswell’s main thoroughfares. The work will require some traffic diversions, but will not result in any full road closures.

Work on East College Boulevard between Main Street and North Atkinson Avenue is scheduled to take place Monday, Oct. 11, through Wednesday, Oct. 13. Traffic will continue to flow on College, but there will be various lane closures as the work progresses. Main Street turn lanes are expected to be temporarily closed when work is taking place in that area.

Work is planned for North Atkinson Avenue from East College Boulevard to Tierra Berrenda from Thursday, Oct. 14, through Saturday, Oct. 16. Traffic will continue to flow on Atkinson, but there will be various lane closures as the work progresses. There will be temporary closures of side streets as the project moves through different areas.

The work on these two streets is expected to be completed within the planned timeframes unless work is disrupted by weather conditions or equipment issues.
