Judy Ann Sanchez of Hagerman, NM, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Judy’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

Judy was born on June 12, 1956, in Roswell, New Mexico. She was a lifelong Hagerman resident and attended Hagerman High School. Judy was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She truly adored her grandchildren and was very involved in their numerous sporting activities as well as their 4H and FFA projects.

Although miles apart, no trip was too far, too long, or too numerous to make to see her grandchildren. They were Judy’s life’s joy! She also enjoyed large dinners with family and friends. Judy was very fond of all her many, many friends, who were touched by kindness, humor, positivity, and above all, a supportive attitude.

Judy lived life to the fullest, her positivity was contagious to all those around her. Her loving, caring, supportive attitude created many friendships and inspired all those around her. She was never one to meet a stranger.

Preceding Judy in death are her parents: Ross Langenegger and Margaret Langenegger.

Those left to cherish memories of Judy are her husband, Ralph Sanchez; son, Joshua Sanchez (Kristen Sanchez); daughter, Jalyne Hopkins (Kevin Hopkins), and their four children: Josiah, Jamison, Jed, J’Adyson, brother John Langenegger and family; brother, Frank Silva and family; and an abundance of friends.

We will all truly miss her more than words can say.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in her honor at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church located in Hagerman, NM, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. A rosary service will begin at 9:30 a.m., to be followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Hagerman Cemetery.

A fellowship gathering will follow the ceremonies at the Hagerman Community Center.

Judy’s tribute was written in her honor by her loving family.
