Alleged thief takes even the soda from home

According to a police report, someone decided to steal a wide range of items from a home in the 400 block of Rowland Drive at about 8:57 a.m. on Dec. 18. They included a box of shirts and boxer shorts valued at $20, a $446 large-screen TV, a $700 game system, as well as two cases of soda worth about $16.

Arrests/citations

Robert Christopher Adams, 36, was charged Dec. 19 at 3:42 p.m. in the 410 block of South Pine Avenue with failure to comply and failure to pay fines.

Karl Edward Affsprung, 54, was charged on Dec. 19 at 12:17 a.m. in the 100 block of East First Street with failure to pay fines.

Angelina Gonzales Artiaga, 40, was charged on Dec. 18 at 12:42 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Main Street with failure to appear.

Matthew James Branch, 30, was charged on Dec. 19 at 11:58 p.m. in the 810 block of West Alameda Street with violations regarding driving while license suspended or revoked and headlamps on motor vehicles.

Jose J. Cardenas, 27, was charged on Dec. 20 at 9 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Union Avenue with interference with communications, false imprisonment and aggravated battery against a household member.

Josiah Christopher Cobos, 21, was charged Dec. 18 at 11:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of East Hendricks Street with unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon.

Steven Richard Delgado, 52, was charged on Dec. 18 at 4:59 p.m. in the 110 block of East Albuquerque Street with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.

Tracy W. Demory, 42, was charged Dec. 20 at 1:16 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Washington Avenue with reckless driving.

Alexis Aneda Encinias, 20, was charged on Dec. 21 at 12:37 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Sunset Avenue with disorderly conduct.

Liberty Ann Hampton, 43, was charged at 12:17 a.m. on Dec. 18 in the 100 block of South Ohio Avenue with criminal trespass.

William J. Hatcher, 62, was charged on Dec. 21 at 6:52 p.m. in the 120 block of East Walnut Street with violations involving mandatory financial responsibility and driving while license suspended or revoked.

Raul Daniel Iglesias, 23, was charged on Dec. 18 at 12:28 a.m. in the 200 block of South Washington Avenue with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs and a violation involving vehicle approaching or entering the intersection.

Savanna Marceline Kuehn, 37, was charged Dec. 18 at 12:20 a.m. in the 900 block of West Third Street with failure to pay fines.

Joshua James Lucero, 30, was charged on Dec. 21 at 11:55 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Kansas Avenue with driving while license suspended or revoked.

Jerry Marquez, 43, was charged on Dec. 19 at 12:25 a.m. in the 1400 block of Jackson Drive with three violations: firearms, destructive devices, receipt, transport by felon; driving while license suspended or revoked; and mandatory financial responsibility.

Desiree Lynette McMath, 34, was charged on Dec. 18 at 10:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Alameda Street with failure to pay fines.

Hector Minaya, 29, was charged on Dec. 19 at 1:39 a.m. in the 400 block of West Country Club Road with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer; public nuisance; and disorderly conduct.

Johnny Ray Sanchez, 30, was charged on Dec. 18 at 11:40 p.m. in the 1100 block of Stanton Avenue with failure to appear.

Paola Nicasio, 37, was charged Dec. 20 at 5:33 p.m. in the 910 block of Gayle Drive with obstructing an officer.

Julie Oliver, 49, was charged on Dec. 21 at 2:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Union Avenue with shoplifting and tampering with evidence.

Charlene Connie Seagrove was charged Dec. 20 at 1:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Newell Street with failure to appear.

Dion Weldon Sentell, 57, was charged Dec. 20 at 9:23 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Kentucky Avenue with unlawful use of license and a violation involving mandatory financial responsibility.

Arson/criminal damage

Damage to a 1996 four-door vehicle was reported to the police on Dec. 19 at 12:02 p.m. in the 400 block of East Fifth Street.

Damage to the passenger-side mirror of a four-door vehicle was reported to police on Dec. 19 at 5:59 p.m. in the 620 block of Cherry Street.

Damage to a window and a window screen was reported on Dec. 19 at 6:35 p.m. in the 700 block of East Greenwood Drive.

Larcenies/thefts

A Smith & Wesson gun valued at about $530 was reported stolen on Dec. 18 at 12:54 a.m. in the 2700 block of South Washington Avenue.

Twenty packs of cigarettes with a total value of about $187.80 were reported stolen from a Diamond Shamrock store at 811 W. Second St. on Dec. 18 at 8:38 p.m.

A forced burglary and the theft of several items were reported on Dec. 19 at 11:05 p.m. in the 400 block of South Union Ave. The items said to be stolen included a $400 laptop, a $250 drill and its battery, a crowbar and a $200 makeup bag.
