David Eugene Perlingos, 55, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 29, 2021.  David was born in Roswell, NM on August 15, 1966 to Doris Lucero and Lawrence Perlingos. He is a 1984 graduate of Goddard High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 2002.  In 1986, David met the love of his life, Lorilei Briseno, who he later married and spent 31 years loving her.  For the last 12 years, David enjoyed working at Navajo Refinery in Artesia, NM.

David was a man of integrity, faith, full of patience, kindness, compassion, and the love of Jesus Christ.  All of these traits were instilled by his Mother Doris whom he adored, respected and loved dearly. He admired his stepfather Orlando Sanchez and will forever be grateful for everything he taught him about life.  Some of his best favorite memories growing up were the times he spent alongside his stepfather as he taught him how to be a good mechanic.  He was a devoted father to his only son Caleb and his joy in life was being a grandfather to Cassius, Camden and Cieden. His family was very important to him and he treasured spending meaningful time with all he loved especially Caleb, Siria, his Grandchildren, Mom and Sisters. David will always be remembered for unselfishly providing to anyone in need and has left a legacy of love for all who have had the honor of knowing him.

David is proceeded in death by his wife Lorilei Perlingos, brothers Lawrence Jr. and George Perlingos, grandparents Pete and Juanita Trujillo, and stepfather Orlando Sanchez.  David is survived by his son Caleb Perlingos and wife Siria; his grandsons, Cassius, Camden, and Cieden; his mother Doris Lucero, his biological father Lawrence (Larry) Perlingos, sister Yolanda and husband Hector Coronado, sister Tanya and husband Andy Herrera, sister Elaine Diaz, sister Cathy Perlingos, and sister Carla Duarte.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who he loved dearly.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Church on the Move at 901 W Brasher Rd, Roswell, NM.  The family is very grateful for all the love and support they’ve received thus far.
